Welcome to JETS Football.
 It is our goal to teach young men the game of football and the fun and enjoyment it can bring. 

This will be the 8th season for the Jets Football program. We are excited about our program. Chad Hebert will be our new Director of Football. Chad has been involved with the Jets for many years and will be a great asset to our program. 

We expect the best from our coaches and players, regarding attitude, discipline, and commitment. There are very few sports that require the time and practice that football requires. We ask that all parents respect the coaches’ time and commitment. The board asks that all parents remain off the practice field; please respect this request.
 
As you know there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to run a football program. There are many areas that we need volunteers to help. If you are interested in helping, please contact your coach and let him know or you can contact Susan Summers at shreveportscouts@hotmail.com..

This year in addition to our football program we are proud to introduce our weightlifting program. This program runs year round. Our lifters are coached by John Crofton. They practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 – 7:00 and on Saturdays from 10:00 – 11:30. All practices take place at LSUS. This year we will be utilizing our website for all communications. This website is www.jetsteams.org. All communications for practices, games, etc. will be posted on this website. Please check the website daily for any changes or updates made by the coaches. These updates will be posted to the website by 4 pm. 

Again, we are excited about this year and look forward to great things from our coaches and players.
